The 18th of November 2016 marked a huge step in Pavegen’s development. We have our first large scale outdoor installation in the heart of one of the US’s busiest cities, Washington D.C. Pavegen has provided a seamless way for pedestrians to contribute renewable power to the local grid, by simply walking down the road. Every day 10,000 people will be passing over 240 sq feet of Pavegen tiles on Connecticut Avenue, metres away from the White House.
